Monitoring implementation outcomes helps ensure that efforts to embed an evidence-based teaching practice ultimately lead to improved student outcomes. This practice guide sets up implementation teams for monitoring, reflecting on and making decisions based on implementation outcomes.
The first part of the practice guide provides an overview of:
- how implementation outcomes fit within a deliberate and structured approach to implementation
- the importance of monitoring implementation outcomes
- which outcomes to monitor
- when and how to monitor implementation outcomes.
The second part sets out practical steps for monitoring the implementation outcomes of:
- feasibility and acceptability
- fidelity and reach
- sustainability.
