AERO has been working closely with Australian schools and systems to learn about promising approaches for implementing evidence-based teaching practices in different school contexts. This discussion paper is the third in a series that shares insights from our work with schools in the Learning Partner project.

Effective implementation bridges the gap between education research and everyday practice, for the benefit of students across Australia. AERO has developed deliberate and structured approach for implementing evidence-based teaching practices. This approach has been tested and refined through the Learning Partner project – a collaboration between AERO and school leaders and regional system teams.

This discussion paper summarises key insights from the third year of the Learning Partner project. During this time, AERO partnered with a range of school communities and focused on scalable, ‘light-touch’ forms of implementation support to schools.
