Formative assessment rubric
This rubric outlines a set of capabilities to do with the evidence-based practice of formative assessment. It can help teachers and their teams implement formative assessment by demonstrating a shared understanding of what it looks like in practice. All of the capabilities are drawn from our Tried and Tested guide on formative assessment.
The rubrics are in draft form. We're seeking feedback from Australian teachers, school leaders, systems, policymakers and researchers who are interested in using AERO’s rubrics to reflect on and improve their own or others' evidence-based teaching practices. The rubrics will be updated based on this feedback.
