AERO has developed the School Writing Instruction Framework (SWIF) to support school leaders and teachers in delivering evidence-based writing instruction to students across all subject areas in mid to upper primary and secondary.
AERO Principal Researcher, Christine Jackson was joined by Queenwood School for Girls (NSW) teachers Rebecca Birch (English teacher and Academic in Residence) and Lara Harvey (Head of Department for Personal Development, Health and Physical Education PDHPE).
Christine unpacked the research behind the framework, while Rebecca and Lara discussed using the resources at Queenwood, and the impact they’ve had on teacher and student outcomes.
