We consult regularly across the education sector to inform our decision-making and priorities.
Panel of educators, teachers and leaders
To help present high-quality evidence that is relevant and accessible, we are forming a panel of educators, teachers and leaders (PETL).
First Nations Expert Reference Group
AERO is seeking people from urban, regional, remote and very remote communities to help drive meaningful change in First Nations education in Australia.
Consultation report
We asked the educators, teachers and education leaders and policymakers across Australia about what Australia’s education evidence body should focus on.
Focus group report
AERO commissioned 21 online focus groups with teachers, school leaders and early childhood educators to obtain first-hand views from educators on a range of issues.
Reconciliation Action Plan
AERO is committed to making a positive contribution to the success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people. As a new organisation, AERO needs to build relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, listen to their priorities and understand how these communities would like us to work with them. AERO will be developing its Reconciliation Action Plan to make sure it contains concrete actions, regarding both the work we do and the way we do it, that reflect the expectations of these communities.
